I work at the intersection of dance and creative, embodied expression. Through movement, imagination, attention, intention and sensation, I support exploratory processes that invite deeper connection—to oneself, others, nature, memory and the parts of experience that may have been forgotten, disowned or remain frozen in the body or field.
Remaining curious about our inner world asks for both openness and courage. Dance and movement invite us into layers of knowing that exist beyond language, held in the body and the imagination. In my experience, we can tune in to anything we choose, embody it, and allow it to move us. In doing so, we expand in relation and through relation, continually encountering life as one interconnected whole.
I am a fully qualified humanistic and integrative psychotherapist and a lifelong dancer. While this work is offered in the context of movement and dance teaching, it is informed by my psychotherapeutic training and embodied practice. My intention is to create spaces of presence, discovery, joy and authentic embodied self-connection.
My background as an IAHIP accredited psychotherapist informs my approach, and I bring a focus on respect, safety and acceptance to every class.
Through movement, we can explore self expression in a way that words sometimes cannot, allowing your individuality to emerge, your body to move more freely and your enjoyment of dance to deepen.
